Santa!

After much hiking in the snow, we ran into Santa. Maia was scared of him, so we all jumped in. We had played so much that day that Bodhi had hat hair, but wasn't wearing his hat so we stuck a Christmas hat on him! Jer is even wearing his waiters. It was a great day in the snow, we even saw an elv hut. I'll hopefully post winter picts soon. My computer time is about over, Jer and Maia are on their way home so it may be tomorrow!

Forgot about baby...

Forgot how much she loves her new baby. She got two, one from Doe Doe one from uncle "minivan Mick". The one from Doe Doe talks and any word that she can't repeat is changed to "bo be" which is Bodhi. As for the cabbage patch doll from Unlce Mick, she loves it's shoes and ate with it's silver spoon, but isn't so sure about it yet.
Here are some picts, with some hand made sweater picts to follow...

Maia Saule Sundance's 2nd Birthday!

Well folks, we followed our tradition. We stayed in the suite Friday night, swimming in the pool and hot tub as much as posible, ordering room service and lounging--even watching Showtime while in the tub! Today, her birthday, we opened gifts, had cake and ice cream and ae now enjoying steak, salad, oysters and champagne! What a weekend--all while we fight the blizzard! Eight more inches tonight--did I already move to Alaska? Thanks for all the gifts, thoughts, calls and LOVE!

Maia even began smiling for the camera this weekend!

So, Maia picked out these shoes (from Italy), she loves them so much that she slept in them the first day she had them. Both kids got new watches and Bodhi finally replaced the long lost Australian hat from preschool (still sad we lost it)...

22 Months

I got my baby center e-mail "your 22 month old probably can only jump one foot first, not true jumping yet" Ha! I laugh in the face of babycenter as my 22 month old makes it a daily practice, jumping on the bed, jumping off the bottom step, jumping on the couch (after she throws EVERY cushion off as she is doing as I type), jumping on the playground, jumping off logs in the yard, I could go on and on!!
I also should say we have now gone one WHOLE WEEK with NO DIAPERS!

McDonald Pumpkin Patch

What a GREAT place! This farm is a non profit, it is educational AND all of the proceeds they raise goes to low income children. It was wonderul, riding horses, seeing the animals, picking our pumpkin. We went as a church group early Sunday morning...

Second Annual Blue Lake Run

So, Molly and I ran this race again. I love this race, family friendly and they serve hot dogs and cookies afterward--things I don't normally have in the house, much less eat!

Grandma DoeDoe finds a way to relieve the pain all the way from Kentucky...

Grandma DoeDoe got Bodhi what he had been wanting for months. He seemed to forget he busted his lip with the wings in place.

"It hurt worse than being dead!"

Well, last night included a trip to the ER for a busted lip! Bodhi was playing in the back yard, jumping from the kiddie picnic table to grab leaves from the tree when sister got in the way of his decent and a toy got him on the chin. Three teeth went into his lip from behind and one big one in front. He ended up with stitches, one in the front, one in the back. It was terrible, he did an awesome job, but to quote Bodhi regarding getting stitched "It hurt worse than being dead!".
He feel asleep so soundly after it all that I called poison control to make sure I hadn't OD'd him on acetaminophen! They said 6 more doses and they MIGHT get worried--wew. Paranoid anyone? Yes!

New Dog!

Before we left for our trip, we added yet another furry member to the family. This dog is Sattva and was a rescue. She took Jer for the sucker he is, laying on her back for him to rub her belly and he was sold! We figure sh is Bodhi's dog hence the name---leading to Bodhi's Sattva or Bodhisattva.
Anywa, she's a keeper.
